Zusha – Roof Over My Head (Official Audio)

Every fall we leave the solid walls of home and head out into the sukkah to eat, to sing, sometimes to sleep under a roof we leave open on purpose, to the rain and the stars. We spend the whole year trying to seal everything up, and make it safe… and then on Sukkot we get to walk outside and sit under a roof that lets the rain in.
That's kind of the whole point. "A roof over your head" is supposed to mean stability. But take away all the comforts we mistake for foundation, and what's actually left is family, friends, emuna, a melody, and the sky.
