Cantor Zevi Muller of the West Side Institutional Synagogue in Manhattan, brings you an authentic rendition of a prayer from Slichos - Halbein Chatoeinu. This composition, originally recorded by Cantor Mordechai Hershman, is a classic cantorial piece which expresses the deep yearning for the days when G-d 'whitens' our sins and we can rejoice in the ensuing purity at the Bais Hamikdosh.
This video recording is of the live performance at the "Chazzanus & Classics" concert at Peter Norton Symphony Space in NYC in March of 2024. The concert benefiting Misaskim and Yedid was produced by Yochi Briskman, conducted by Ofir Sobol, and featured Cantor Nissim Saal, with Cantors Moti Boyer and Zevi Muller.
