My daughter's wedding was a very special and emotional event for me. In the past year, I lost both my parents, and my father passed away just a week before the wedding. Music has always been a part of my life, and even at the wedding, the new songs accompanied us as a family in the emotional transition from mourning to great joy. Now, as we are on the eve of Shavuot, when we renew our marriage covenant with the holy Torah .and G-d every year, there is nothing more fitting than to sing these songs
יעקב מספר: "החתונה של הבת שלי היתה אירוע מאד מיוחד ומרגש מבחינתי. בשנה האחרונה איבדתי את שני הוריי, ואבא שלי נפטר ממש שבוע לפני החתונה. כל חיי המוזיקה מלווה אותי וגם בחתונה השירים החדשים ליוו אותנו, כמשפחה, במעבר המיידי והמרגש מאבל לשמחה גדולה. כעת כשאנחנו בערב חג מתן תורה, כשעם ישראל מחדש מדי שנה את ברית הנישואין עם התורה הקדושה והקב"ה, אין מתאים יותר מלשיר את השירים האלו. "אהבת עולם תהיי לי בנשמה".
