I’m THRILLED and humbled to present to you my first music video! This video, shot in the holy city of Jerusalem, with some incredible friends, and by the incredibly talented Markus Cohn, captures the spirit and message of this song in such a beautiful and meaningful way!
This song, my first of many to come G-d willing, truly embodies one of the running themes and messages I’ve been both learning and experiencing over the past few years along the incredible journey I've been blessed to be a part of. As Pierre Tielhardt De Chardin famously quoted, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience”, which is a beautiful take on a torah from the alter rebbe of Chabad. The idea is that recognizing that we are souls, literally parts of G-d himself, and therefore capable of infinite potential for love, goodness, growth, and all the other things that G-d is, is the foundation for truly loving ourselves AND others.
It is my hope and tefillah (prayer) that this song and video uplifts and inspires you the way it did me when I first wrote it.
