From the very beginning, I knew I wanted Tzali Gold to sing it. Growing up listening to his unforgettable vocals on Moshe Goldman’s albums, there was a nostalgic connection that made his voice feel like the perfect fit. And he exceeded every expectation. His heartfelt delivery, together with the pure voices of the Yiddish Nachas Choir, brings this song to life in a truly beautiful way.
I entrusted the arrangement to my childhood friend and musical genius, Naftali Schnitzler, and together they created something that captures exactly what I felt that Friday night—pure emotion, pure joy, and pure Shabbos.
