I struggle to find the words to describe the emotions that went into this song. For 10 years my mother, my biggest fan, suffered with dementia. Although it sometimes felt like there was no hope, we davened, we pleaded, Rifaeinu Hashem. Heal our mother who for years as a NICU nurse helped others heal and believe. Because as Jews that’s what we do. We believe even when there is no hope. We cry out to Hashem because at the end of the day, it is only He who can help us. Ki Keil Melech Rofei.
My mother’s Yartzeit is Leil Seder. In the end, no matter the outcome, we all know that Hashem loves us. So let’s Daven together for all those who need it and Iy”H see the truest Refuah Shleimah with the Geulah Shleimah, Bimheira Vyameinu Amen.
