Chananya Begun Presents the Debut Music Video of MENDY "J" , an exciting new singer and electric performer. Titled "Sim Shalom" ,this song is a revolutionary blend of Classical Heimishe Jewish Music that many continue to love and enjoy, masterfully blended with the musical technicality and styles of todays music, without compromising on either one . Any type of music listener will find what to enjoy in this song, as well as the rest of the songs on Mendys' upcoming album, due out around summer 2013 .
This music video was filmed in a point-of-view ,handheld style to give the impression that you are there with them - at the stunning Highline in New York City ,a raised train track that was converted into a beautiful park along the lower west side of Manhattan. This was the first time the Highline has ever allowed a Music Video shoot on location .See the city from a entirely different vantage point and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Two random guys sitting at a table minding there own ordinary business .But, once Mendy J shows up , they are suddenly transformed into a tandem of unbelievable dancers ,with all types of people joining along as the video progresses .The underlying concept of the video is that ,no matter what type of person you are, a seemingly dull or difficult life can always be infused with simcha and happiness ,whether through great music, or thinking about all the good we have in life ,and that Hashem will ultimately lead us on a path of shalom .Watch and enjoy !
