Israel Portnoy – Back-Porch Blues (Guilda LIVE Lookout Sessions)

The fifth and final song from Guilda's LIVE Lookout Session at a wonderful location I'm lucky enough to call my home.
This song is perhaps lyrically the rawest on the record. It's relatively literal - I talk about the feeling of only having Guilda as my sole possession. I wrote this towards the end of the life/album journey and (as I try to express in the chorus that) when I was feeling blue, I took comfort in the fact that I knew I wasn't alone in my pain and that ultimately, (in this human experience) we are never fully alone in our suffering.
Huge thank you yet again to my DREAM TEAM:
