Israel Portnoy – Aura (Official Music Video)

A year ago today, Aura made me dad. I won't get all soppy here (don't worry the song is soppy enough) but I say that it absolutely changed my life in the best possible way and turned so much of what I thought I knew upside down.
As most songwriters probably experience, your craft becomes intertwined with life as a parent and before I knew it, I was writing Aura lots of songs. Not songs I ever thought I would release - mostly chorus'. Some for sleep time, some for the early wake-up etc... more recently it became clear that we should be sharing these songs with the world and not just my little family so....
