I wrote this song during Elul, when we speak about the King being in the field — that closeness, that chance to connect. But the truth is, sometimes I feel it, and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I’d rather stay “indoors.” Or maybe that’s just what I tell myself.
Still, there’s a deeper comfort I keep coming back to: if God is our Father, His love never leaves. Even when I don’t feel it, even when life feels confusing, every challenge is part of His plan. That reminder isn’t just for Elul — it’s something I hold onto all year.
